Stack'em Up Nachos
Ingredients
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Put beans into a microwave-safe
bowl and loosely cover with plastic wrap. Microwave beans for one to two minutes.
Carefully remove plastic wrap and stir.
- In a medium-sized skillet,
mix ground beef or turkey and taco seasoning together. After mixed place on
burner and turn burner to medium-high. Cook and stir until meat is brown then
remove from heat.
- Take one chip round and spoon
on 1 tsp. of beans and 1 tsp. of meat. Place another round on top and repeat
the same meat and bean layering. Add one more chip on top of that and sprinkle
with 1 Tbsp. of cheese. Repeat the layering process for all nachos and stack
each nacho evenly on baking sheet.
- Place baking sheet in the
oven and bake for two to four minutes or until cheese is melted. With oven
mitts, carefully take the sheet out of the oven. Then move the nachos to a
serving dish with a spatula. Let guests top their nachos with shredded lettuce,
salsa and sour cream.

Most embarrassing moments
A bunch of my friends and I went on
a trip and stayed in a hotel. We were staying in three different rooms. We started
to prank call each other. I was going to prank call my friend in room 506. My
finger slipped and I accidentally called some old man in room 206! Since I thought
I was talking to my friend, I put on this really weird accent and said, “Is
your refrigerator working?” The man was pretty confused and said, “Um… Are you
one of the workers from the hotel?” I heard the old man’s voice and thought
that my friend was talking weird like me. So, I then said that an employee would
come to his room in five minutes to make sure his refrigerator is working! Five
minutes later, I knocked on my friend’s door and she had no idea what I was
talking about!
I take voice lessons at my dance studio.
Each year the students get to sing in front of an audience. I was singing and
loving it when all of the sudden, I belched…loud. It sounded like, “when you
loo-BUUUUURRRRRRRRPPPP!” The kids in audience laughed and the parents tried
to be polite, but I could tell they were thinking, “I’m glad that’s not my kid!”
I was soo embarrassed!

Dear
GiGi,
There is a new girl in my class and everyone teases her. I want to help her
but don't know what to do.

Bystander
Dear Baffled Bystander,
The first
thing to do is make friends with the new girl. By doing this you'll make her
feel more welcome and included. When someone bullies her, stand up for your
new friend.

GiGi,
At school, a lot of kids
are going green. They say I should too, but I don’t know how. Do you have any
ideas?
-Need to
be Green Girl
Dear Green
Girl,
There
are a lot of ways to go green. You can start off by using eco-friendly
light bulbs, walking to places and turning off the lights when you
leave a room.
